Abigail Hancock Calligraphy is based in Brooklyn, New York but works with clients throughout the United States. We offer custom calligraphy services for a variety of events and occasions.  While the majority of clients are in the wedding industry, calligraphy can also be used to add a personal touch to a variety of items and occasions.  Love letters, poems, gift certificates and gift tags, and many other items can benefit from the addition of calligraphy.

To give you a little background, Abigail has explored and studied many different art mediums from a young age, including painting, drawing, portraiture, collage, stained glass, sewing, video editing, photography, graphic design, architecture and landscape design.

In addition to loving art, Abigail has always had a passion for handwriting and letter forms. After realizing the link between art and handwriting was calligraphy she immediately enrolled in private lessons and studied under DeAnn Singh in Los Angeles for several years.  Since starting Abigail Hancock Calligraphy and becoming a professional calligrapher, she has enjoyed working with wedding planners, on feature films, and for celebrities.
